How to get 150,000 people to read your blog

Today, I’m going to share two strategies I’ve used to get traffic to my websites from extremely high-traffic blogs like Lifehacker and sites like the Wall Street Journal.
This advice is useful for getting thousands of new readers to your blog, customers to your new startup, or to get your dream freelance job. And you can start using it tomorrow morning.
So, back to the question: Why do some bloggers get the lion’s share of attention, while others toil endlessly to write posts that virtually nobody will ever read?
On a recent forum where both new and experienced bloggers share tips for getting traffic, SEO, etc, most of the discussions were debating minutiae about meaningless changes they could make to their blog to get more readers. “What SEO plugin should I use?” one asked. “Does anyone think I should change my blog’s name???” another wondered. After 20 minutes of reading, I had to close the window because I was getting so frustrated.
Look, here’s a simple chart of what matters for getting traffic for your site.
Getting Traffic for Your Blog: What Really Matters | iwillteachyoutoberich.com
Basically, there are only two ways that really matter to get traffic to your website without spending a fortune in advertising:
  1. Writing really good content – what I call "remarkable content" – and then telling the right people about it.
  2. Writing amazing "guest posts" – articles for other relevant blogs with more traffic than you.

Use the Remarkable Content Strategy to Get Traffic to your Blog

You’ve seen awesome writing on the web, right? Work that creates reputations and builds businesses.
Maybe you read people like Tim Ferriss, Neil Patel, Brian Clark, or one of the other big-name bloggers who regularly produce high-caliber material you can’t get enough of.
Their amazing content turned them into respected experts, helped them build a loyal fan base, and opened up huge opportunities in their business and personal lives. And it all started with great content.
The real question is: Can you do the same?
There is a proven system for creating remarkable content. A system that helps you churn out amazing articles, blog posts, and emails – anytime you want.
I spent dozens of hours documenting everything I know to a free guide to creating remarkable content. It’s already got hundreds of thousands of new visitors to my website, and it sends more traffic every day.

Use the Guest Post Strategy to Borrow Traffic from Bigger Websites

Besides writing really good content, the easiest way to get traffic to your blog is to write something interesting for another blogger who has more traffic than you.
It’s funny — when you point this out to many new bloggers by saying, “Hey, why don’t you write up something really good and send it to a bigger blogger as a guest post?” — many of them quickly make up a bunch of excuses. “Well, uh… I am really busy this weekend” or “I’m in the middle of this really interesting post on how HSBC interest rates changed!” Yes, okay.
But it’s not just as simple as deciding to write a guest post. When it comes to high-traffic bloggers, there are very specific ways to approach them so they’ll accept your pitch.
Before we get to the tactics…

Who could apply this strategy? 3 examples

Like I said, this works for bloggers and many other areas of business:
Nora Dunn's guest post drove 100,000 pageviews in 72 hours
  1. You’re a new blogger who wants more traffic: If you’re a blogger and you’re looking to grow traffic, put yourself in the mind of bloggers with large readerships: They’re busy, they have huge egos, and they need to constantly post new, interesting stuff to satisfy their readers’ voracious appetites for content. Could you write one piece of excellent content for them?As an example, here were the results of Nora Dunn’s travel post earlier this week, which drove nearly 100,000 page views in 72 hours. I’ve already invited her to have a regular guest spot on I Will Teach You To Be Rich.
  2. You want to break into the fashion industry: Or let’s say you read fashion magazines and really want to break into the industry. The magazine needs fresh perspectives, especially things that haven’t been done (think money diaries for a magazine, for example). How could you help them?
  3. You just started a new company and need customers: How about if you’re starting a business on Christmas ornaments, and you aren’t sure how to get traffic to your website. The first thing I would do is record some interesting videos for other Christmas sites and give them away for free.

I’ve written up a detailed post with the tactics for writing successful guest posts for high-traffic bloggers. It takes effort to create these articles, but when you do it, you can get hundreds of thousands of new readers and many thousands of new customers for your business.

Adolf Hitler was a German politician who was the leader of the Nazi Party, Chancellor of Germany from 1933 to 1945, and Leader of Nazi Germany from 1934 to 1945.

ADOLF HITLER/Quotes

Those who want to live, let them fight, and those who do not want to fight in this world of eternal struggle do not deserve to live. -

If you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough, it will be believed.

He alone, who owns the youth, gains the future.

Make the lie big, make it simple, keep saying it, and eventually they will believe it.

The victor will never be asked if he told the truth.

Words build bridges into unexplored regions.

Demoralize the enemy from within by surprise, terror, sabotage, assassination. This is the war of the future.

I use emotion for the many and reserve reason for the few.

All propaganda has to be popular and has to accommodate itself to the comprehension of the least intelligent of those whom it seeks to reach.

It is not truth that matters, but victory.

12 facts about Kim Jong Un! 5th point is hilarious...LOL

North Korea is a place with many secrets, rumors, and bizarre stories. It can be hard to sort fact from fiction, but what we know for sure is that its leader, Kim Jong Un, is a unique and interesting fellow, to say the least. Read on to find out all the most interesting things we know about Kim Jong Un.
1. Kim Jong Un did not actually go to school in North Korea. He attended the International School of Bern in Switzerland under the pseudonym Pak-un, doing well at music but failing math and science.
2. Ancestors are highly important to Kim Jong Un. So important that he put one of his ministers into jail for “insufficient grieving” during his father’s funeral, and there are even rumors that he sentenced one assistant to death by mortar for being drunk during mourning.
3. Another odd choice in the punishment of political opponents was Kim Jung Un’s response to his uncle Jang Song-thaek. The dear uncle was found guilty of adultery, dining illegally and dreaming alternative dreams, for which he was executed by firing squad.
4. Kim Jong Un may be the youngest world leader, except that no one is entirely sure if he was born in 1982, ’83, or ’84.
5. In 2012, The Onion declared Kim Jung Un “Sexiest Man Alive”.
6. 2012 was a pretty good year for the leader, who, in addition to (satirically) being the sexiest man alive, also got an 1,800-foot carving in a hillside reading “Long Live General, The Shining Sun!”
7. Kim Jong Un is a dae jang, which is the equivalent of a general in the military. Of course, he has no military experience, making him the highest ranking military man with no experience.
8. Although he just got a haircut, his previous hairstyle is extremely popular and is known as the “youth” or the “ambition.” Amazingly, he cut his own hair due to a fear of barbers.
9. Prioritizing North Korea is important for most citizens, but as the leader, Kim Jong Un gets to have some interests from the rest of the world. One of his most famous is Swiss cheese, which he picked up at school. He spends tens of thousands of pounds a year to import the stuff.
10. One of the leader’s best friends is NBA-star Dennis Rodman, thanks to his serious basketball obsession.
11. Although Kim Jong Un is the Supreme Leader of North Korea, he is not the highest ranking official. His grandfather Kim Il Sung is technically the “Eternal President,” a title higher than his grandson’s. The odd part of this is that he’s been dead for 21 years.
12. There are reports that he had plastic surgery in response to some doubts about his legitimacy as a leader. He made himself look more like his grandfather.
